LRP10蛋白背景综述 Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 10 (LRP10) is one member of the Low-density lipoprotein receptorrelated protein family. LRP10 plays an important role in lipoprotein metabolism. Chylomicron remnants, produced by lipolysis, are rapidly taken up by the liver via an apolipoprotein E (apoE)-mediated, receptor-dependent process. The low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor-related protein (LRP) has been suggested as the potential apoE receptor. low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor-related protein (LRP) 10 (LRP10) inhibits the canonical Wnt / beta- catenin signaling pathway. The beta-catenin/T cell factor (TCF) transcriptional activity in HEK293 cells was activated by transfection with Wnt3a or LRP6, which was then inhibited by co-transfection with LRP10. Deletion of the extracellular domain of LRP10 negated its inhibitory effect. It sugested that LRP10 may interfere with the formation of the beta-catenin/TCF complex and its binding to target DNA in the nucleus, and that the extracellular domain of LRP10 is critical for inhibition of the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway.
