Molecular Mass: The recombinant canine IL22RA1/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 453 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 51.2 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 56 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.

IL22RA1 / IL22R Protein Description
IL22 receptor (IL22 Rα1) is an approximately 65 kDa single-pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the type I I cytokine receptor family (CRF). IL22Rα1 contains a 211 aa extracellular domain (ECD) with two fibronectin type I II repeats, and a 323 aa cytoplasmic domain. IL-22 Rα1 associates with either IL-10 Rβ or IL-20 Rβ to form receptor complexes with distinct ligand selectivities. IL-10 Rβ is a shared subunit of the IL-10, -22, -26, -28, and -29 receptors, while IL-20 Rβ is a shared subunit of the IL-19, -20, -22 R and -24 receptors. IL22 binding to heterodimer is greater than binding to IL22Rα1 alone, and the interaction can induce activation of JAK/STAT, MAPK1/MAPK3 and Akt kinase pathways. IL22Rα1 is expressed in colon, liver, lung, pancreas, kidney, keratinocytes of normal skin, and also be detected in normal blood brain barrier endothelial cells as well as in multiple sclerosis lesions.
