You will need:-
12g Potassium Permanganate
6g Crushed paraformaldehyde
1) Set the hood so that it can vent outside.
2) Mix the two chemicals above together (in a jam/coffee jar, soit can be thrown away) in the hood, wear gloves and a facemask.
N.B.: Potassium permanganate is a strong oxidising agent whileparaformaldehyde and formaldehyde vapour are extremely toxic.
3) Add 50ml water and mix.
4) Quickly place the front door of the hood in position, and tapeover the joints.
5) Leave overnight and then switch on hood for at least 1 hourprior to use.
