Recombinant Mouse IL-6 Description：

Interleukin-6 (IL-6), also known as IFN-β2, BSF-2, and HPGF, is a multifunctional cytokine which regulates immune responses, acute-phase 
reactions and hematopoiesis. Reported cellular targets for IL-6 action include hepatocytes, B and T lymphocytes, neurons, tumor cells and 
multipotent hematopoietic cells. Mouse IL-6 is a 21.7 kD protein containing 187 amino acid residues. Recombinant mouse IL-6 (Cat. No. 
554582) is supplied as a frozen liquid comprised of 0.22 µm sterile-filtered aqueous buffered solution, glycerol and bovine serum albumin, 
with no preservatives. Recombinant mouse IL-6 is ≥ 95% pure as determined by SDS-PAGE, and an absorbance assay based on the 
Beers-Lambert law. The endotoxin level is ≤ 0.1 ng per µg of mouse IL-6, as measured in a chromogenic LAL assay.
